Hello everyone of Hawaii!!!!...No, I mean ALOHAAA!! We are L’Arc~en~Ciel. Although we’re at the ‘Shell’ today. You guys ok? It feels so good! Really good. Better than sex!
It’s nice that many of you are in bikinis. ken-chan keeps on looking at them... he pretends to be looking in this direction through those sunglasses, but I bet he’s just looking at the bikinis!!
(ken takes off his sun glasses and looks round)...Give me some sunglasses too!
Is this a 20th anniversary live? Or is is part of the tour? What is it?

hyde: Isn’t it our 20th anniversary?
tetsuya Yeah but we’ve turned 21 years old!!

hyde: we’ve turned 21. What were you guys doing when you were 21? Ah...we were in our first year of L’Arc. ken-san was still at university. He had short hair, and was wearing a white T-shirt... A Hanes T-shirt! And yukihiro-san was our senpai (senior). We were thinking ‘Senpai is so cool!’. Um... (looking at yukkie) you look good in your tank-top today! Like Yujiro (N.B. famous Japanese actor).
We’ve been to Hawaii many times... When was the last time we came as L'Arc?
ken: was it for a photo shoot? Hawaii en Ciel?
hyde: for ‘finale’?? Is that before or after?? (audience: no! Before!) yeah, you guys are always right! You’ll say I’m wrong afterwards (laugh)! ‘finale’ was amazing... we all got altitude sickness... well, ‘we’ being 2 of us. (ken-chan has no microphone so mouths: ‘I went horse riding’) you went horse riding? (ken mouths: Because I was bored whilst everyone was having their shoot’) because you were bored. (ken mouths: hydee rode the horse too no? Your horse was pooing all the time) my horse was pooing? Really?? You know when your horse poos it feels like you’re pooing (laugh). Why am I like a translator here because you have no microphone (laugh). You have a cold?? I bet you did something that made you catch a cold!

I’ve got a cold at the moment. I wanted to relax in Hawaii but no...I thought there weren’t any cold viruses here. (in English) I have no virus!! (still in English) Correct? Hawaiian people have gold? No?? (back to Japanese) I bet you’re laughing even if you don’t understand me... I’m going to tap the ash off my cigarette. (audience shout something like ‘take care’) take care? I don’t know if I can! I’ve got a cold! (audience say something like ‘stop smoking’) stop smoking? That’s a good idea! Well I am trying, I’m trying to quit smoking at the moment. People who have quit smoking have completely stopped smoking cigarettes, but people who are ‘trying to quit smoking’ are sometimes still smoking cigarettes!!
Are you guys enjoying Hawaii? You guys ok? Being able to play such a fun gig in Hawaii... it feels like we’re all buddies! How do you say ‘like buddies’ in English? ...Ohana! Ohana means ‘close like buddies’ right? I know that. Because they said so in Lilo and Stitch! I still don’t know which one is Lilo and which one is Stitch, but the blue one said so. I’m good at impersonating him, ‘Ohanaaa’... Erm... anway... I’m going to tap the ash off my cigarette. What are you guys most enjoying in Hawaii?? L’Arc?? Thank you! It makes us happy. So I’ve been giving the members souvenirs at every world tour live, but for the last 2 shows I gave souvenirs to hyde and then yukkie, which meant that Leader missed out on one, so I thought he’d be angry...so... LEADDERRR!!!

ken: Because we are L’Arc~en~Ciel, we have here swimming trunks with 7 colours. RAINBOWWW!! It’s like L’Arc is wearing L’Arc!
tetsu: Thank you!
ken: I also bought this – pink snorkels, for when you want to go swimming. Because tecchan likes pink! (tetsu: Yep! I like pink!) I think it might be for kids, but since your face is small it’ll probably be ok!! (tecchan puts it on). Can you breathe? Yes!!
Also, I thought you’d get tired of just swimming, so I bought a beach ball!! With 7 colours!! (audience: Blow it up!!) you’ll get tired if you blow it up... (tetsu starts to blow up ball) Blow it in one go! Blow it in one go! Blow it in one go!! ...now that it’s been blown up, I just realised there aren’t actually 7 colours. There’s only like 3 or 4 colours. You’re amazing tecchan! Tecchan! Tecchan! Tecchaaan!!!Tecchaaaan!!! It’s massive – about to explode! Are you going to throw it into the audience? No, you’re going to put it on the floor?
I also bought a lei with 7 colours. (tecchan puts it on) Ah it’s cute! Tecchan you’re cute!!!
I also bought a hair clip with a pink hibiscus! Can you put it on? Oh wait, you don’t have any hair there (the side bit of his head) at the moment... (tecchan manages to put it on) Aah! It’s cute!!!
Ok, since it’s getting cold, we should go on... since we’ve been talking about SEVEN colours...what do you think it is?? A beetle?? Let’s go!! SEVENTH HEAVEN!!!

hyde: L’Arc means rainbow, and Hawaii is the Paradise of rainbows... Who’s seen a rainbow? There’s so many. It makes us happy. Thank you. It’s great to play in Hawaii. It was our first time but it feels good...AMAZING! Since today has now been declared L’Arc Day, I hope that we can play here again.
Today is the end of our tour... We did so many gigs that it’s now turned into our 21st anniversary, but it was truly a fruitful and meaningful year. It’s a milestone for L’Arc. Thank you. We’ll be back, so come out and play with us again. Our final song, Niji.
