[szerk] uhh, Tenshi, köszi hogy felhívtad a figyelmem a yuukitenshis oldalra. Ott akkor most találtam angol Japanese Modernist-ot...umm..durvább, mint képzeltem. És befigyelte a fennti szövegíró, hogy mit üvöltenek: nem artikulálatlan uuoooo, hanem WHY?!! Most átértékeltem Gara színpadi előadását
GO MAD Japanese modernists
Why is only this country so powerful?
Why only this country?
On that day they flew above the debris the immortal and invincible hedonists
Switch ON and they are flying again today
With a "sayonara" it's bye-bye to their weak selves
Boys, move forward now!
Boys, be ambitious now!
Look steadily only forward
Please die up in the sky, everyone
GO MAD Japanese modernists
GO MAD Japanese hedonists
The sea! The sun! The end of the world! That sky!
Can you hear it? The voice
Father! Mother! Little sister! Little brother!
Can you hear it? The voice...
The sea! The sun! The end of the world! That sky!
Can you hear it?
Translator's notes
Modern Japan, patriotism and war, especially World War II, are some of the main topics on this album (Modern-garde). You might have guessed by now that this particular song is about the people who died in WWII, especially the young kamikaze pilots. That's why I've used the plural forms when referring to them (i.e. "modernists" instead of "modernist" and so on).
Really impressive lyrics and truly powerful imagery, especially in the chorus.
